SHELLY DANZ
For more than two decades, Shelly Danz has been a driving force behind imaginative events across Georgia, from large-scale soirées to thoughtfully curated intimate gatherings. Known for her energy, creativity, and attention to detail, Shelly brings a refined approach to every experience she helps create, blending vision with execution in a way that feels seamless and memorable.
She is the Chief Party Officer of Atlanta Party Connection, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2025. Through the company, Shelly produces The Wedding Extravaganza three times a year, widely recognized as the South’s most beautiful wedding event. Designed to inspire and connect, the show brings together engaged couples, their families, and leading wedding professionals in an environment that feels both elevated and welcoming. A strong advocate for inclusivity, Shelly ensures that every couple feels represented, supported, and celebrated.
Shelly’s commitment to the event industry extends beyond producing shows. Atlanta Party Connection also hosts networking events and professional development workshops, creating space for event professionals to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow their businesses with intention.
In addition to her work with Atlanta Party Connection, Shelly serves as President of the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA) Atlanta, Awards Co-Chair for the Allie Awards, and Education Director for Wedding Show Producers International (WSPI). Across these roles, she continues to support, elevate, and advocate for the events community both locally and nationally.
At the heart of everything she does is a genuine passion for helping people create meaningful, unforgettable celebrations while championing the professionals who bring those moments to life.
